<p>
The intersection of the hippie movement!
Haight-Ashbury is the crossing of two streets in San Francisco, California - remembered fondly as one of the main areas for counterculture in the 1960s!
Seen as the place to go for the hippie culture at the time, this neighbourhood became incredibly popular, peaking during the Summer Of Love of 1967 with psychedelic rock artists performing their music there too!
Eventually due to overcrowding, hard drug issues and more, the scene quickly died down and became relatively quiet until the 1980s where a comedy club opened, launching the careers of the Robin Williams and Whoopi Goldberg to name a few.
A real classic - and a must-have for any counterculture fan!
