Worzel Gummidge Hooded Sweatshirt

Worzel Gummidge - children's character who rose to fame in the late 70's and throughout the 80's due to the TV show; based on the books written by Barbara Euphan Todd. Gummidge was a scarecrow that came to life and with two friends (siblings John and Sue Peters) ended up getting involved in a lot of mischief. The show ended in 1981, but was revived again in 1987 as Worzel Gummidge Down Under - instead of being in the UK, the show took place in New Zealand - but it failed to capture the imagination that its previous series did, and thus was cancelled in 1989.
