Gerry & The Pacemakers "You'll Never Walk Alone" Kids T-Shirt

Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart... "You'll Never Walk Alone", a song from the musical Carousel, is most famous for the cover version by Liverpudlian band Gerry & The Pacemakers. Their version not only topped the UK charts for 4 weeks in 1963, but it also became the anthem of their local football club, Liverpool. Such was its impact on the club that not only is it sung at every home game prior to kick off, it even features on their coat of arms and above the Shankly Gates entrance! The song eventually became one of the UK's biggest selling of all time, achieving the million sales mark in July 2016, and would also become a #1 hit again when covered by Michael Ball & Captain Tom Moore in 2020, raising money for the NHS. Lead singer of the group, Gerry Marsden, passed away in January 2021 at the age of 78. A classic design for a classic group!
