Hang The DJ (As Worn By Morrissey, The Smiths) Womens Slim Fit T-Shirt

Watch out, Steve Wright! This t-shirt design was sported by Morrissey from The Smiths, in relation to the group's song "Panic" (#11 in the UK charts) - written to lament pop music after the then-Radio 1 DJ played an upbeat pop song following news of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. Following the release of the track and this design, Steve Wright refused to play any more songs by The Smiths or Morrissey but, in his usual joking self, took the incident in otherwise good humour (even trying to book The Smiths' frontman for an interview on his show!) A must-have for all Smiths and Morrissey fans!

Red Wedge Tour 1986 Womens Slim Fit T-Shirt

When musicians tried to get young people in to politics! Formed in 1985, Red Wedge was a group of musicians (fronted by Billy Bragg, Paul Weller and Jimmy Somerville) who wanted to engage with young voters in order to garner more support for Labour ahead of the 1987 General Election, and in 86 they held a number of tours. The tour featured The Style Council, The Communards, Junior Giscombe, Lorna Lee and Jerry Dammers. Guest appearances were also made by Madness, The The, Heaven 17, Bananarama, Prefab Sprout, Elvis Costello, Gary Kemp, Tom Robinson, Sade, The Beat, Lloyd Cole, The Blow Monkeyz, Jools & The Smiths.
