Lead Sister (As Worn By Karen Carpenter, Carpenters) Womens Slim Fit T-Shirt

When a humorous mistranslation leads to a successful look! Karen Carpenter wore this "LEAD SISTER" t-shirt in 1975 after a funny misunderstanding the year prior. During an interview for a Japanese magazine, a translation error meant instead of writing "lead singer", they instead wrote "lead sister". Karen found this hilarious, and the following year would wear this at gigs when playing drums! A must-have for all Carpenters fans!
