Rex were a British rock & roll group formed in swingin’ 1967. The band originally went by the name Tyrannosaurus Rex, putting out a series of under-the-radar folk rock albums. During the early to mid ‘70s, the band went electric, turned it up loud and released a string of hits that included such timeless classic as Jeepster, Get It On, Hot Love, Children of the Revolution, Ride a White Swan, Telegram Sam, Metal Guru and I Love to Boogie. At the height of their powers the band put out six UK top-30 albums, including the chart-topping Electric Warrior, cementing their status as one of glam rock’s most enduring acts. Sadly, tragedy struck in 1977; Bolan was killed in a car accident and the band fell apart. In September 1976 during one of their gigs, The Damned's Captain Sensible wore this design! Fortunately, the band’s music lives on. Show the world just how much T. Rex mean to you with this glam new design, based on original ‘70s artwork, and pressed onto an eye catching yellow garment.
