A classic from your TV!
The Old Grey Whistle Test&amp;nbsp;was a BBC2 show broadcast between 1971 and 1988 and was an alternative to&amp;nbsp;Top Of The Pops, in that they would play non-chart music.
The name comes from a Tin Pan Alley phrase, where a record was played to the &quot;old greys&quot; (doormen in grey suits). If they could whistle along to the song after just one or two plays, it was considered to have passed the old grey whistle test.
With a simplistic studio setting, the Starkicker in the titles and Area Code 615&#039;s Stone Fox Chase playing, you knew you were in for a brilliant show: be it Bob Harris, Annie Nightingale, Richard Williams or any other who took on the presenting role!
Show your love for this brilliant show with this exclusive design!

<p>
...so drink one today!
This exclusive design features the branding and slogan for the beer Double Diamond, first brewed in 1876. It was one of the most popular beers in the UK across the 50s, 60s and 70s, and after being discontinued outside of kegs in 2003, it was relaunched in 2025 in cans.
The tagline comes from a humorous 60s advert, which was sung to the tune of the nursery rhyme &quot;There&#039;s A Hole In My Bucket&quot; - a far cry from previous advertising campaign which just stuck to &quot;the beer the men drink&quot;.
A must-have design for lovers of this classic!
