In 100 Days, The Force Awakens…

Riiiiiiiiiise…

It hardly feels like a few moments ago that we found out there would be episodes 7, 8 and 9 of Star Wars to come – and today marks just 100 days until we get the first of those – Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens.

Star Wars has a well-known unique feature, in that the films have not been released in chronological order – the first, A New Hope, is actually episode 4 of the series, released in 1977. Episode 5 (The Empire Strikes Back) was released in 1980, and Episode 6 (Return of the Jedi) in 1983.

It would then be 16 years before Star Wars returned to the big screen, when we were finally introduced to the very beginning of the story – Episode 1: The Phantom Menace, in 1999. The follow-ups came in 2002 (Episode 2: Attack of the Clones), and what was believed to be the end of it all, Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith in 2005.

However, in 2012, Disney gained the rights to the franchise in 2012 and announced the next trilogy. In 100 days time, the first of those three will arrive, making the first new Star Wars film in 10 years.

But before that, you need a t-shirt design for when you go see the big screening. So, check out our range of Star Wars-themed designs here!
