Great Scott! Going Back To The Future… Again!

It wasn’t that long ago that we celebrated the day Marty McFly and the Doc came to the year 2015… and it wasn’t quite what we were expecting.

However, this time we’re looking back to when Marty went to 1955, and the Enchantment Under The Sea dance, held at Hill Valley High School in the fictional town of Hill Valley, California. (Has anyone tell them that’s an oxymoron…?)

On Saturday November 12th, following a series of events which led to the possibility of his parents never meeting and thus not having him as a child, Marty and Doc Brown come up with a plan to fix the situation which is to take place at the dance at the High School. Marty is playing with the band The Starlighters¬†and the lovely song “Earth Angel” after George, his father, stops a drunk Biff (his bully) from making advances on Lorraine (Marty’s mother), and they fall in love on the dancefloor – securing Marty’s future.

Then in a moment of brilliance, Marty plays “Johnny B. Goode” along with the band, and everyone loves it – so much so, Marvin Berry (who just happens to be the cousin of Chuck) allows his cousin to hear him play it over the phone. Luckily Chuck’s version never included the wacky solo Marty went on afterwards…

It’s a pivotal moment in the film, and it all took place at Hill Valley High School!
